So, I don't know if anyone noticed but I was up quite late posting the last blog and pictures last night and I COMPLETELY forgot to mention Ben's birthday. How could I?!? On November 1st he turned 29! 29 people!!!! I don't know about anyone else but to me....that's getting up there. It's not that I think that people over the age of 29 are ridiculously old, it's just that at 25 I still feel very much like I did when I was 20 so being married to an almost 30 year old seems absolutely crazy!!! But....not too long from now I will be turning 29 and and won't think it's so old after all. =) At any rate, just a couple days before the big day Ben went down to Salt Lake and picked up a 1997 Kawasaki KDX 200R. He plans on replacing the tires and making it street legal so he can ride it to school and work as well as off road. The morning of his birthday he headed down to Bountiful to go riding in the mountains with his good friend Cameron. They were gone most of the day and apparently had a blast. When he got home that night we had a huge steak, corn, and twice baked potato dinner followed by brownies and cookies and cream ice cream. My little brother Sean gave him a pair of hiking boots. My mom got him the new 3 Doors Down CD and my step dad bought him a new backpack. Maddie and I bought him some new shirts. As is probably obvious by now I've posted some pictures of Ben and his new bike. Enjoy! =)

How fun....Happy Birthday Ben!! Scott will be 29 in December. I know how you feel....LOL :-)
Sorry we are late but Happy Birthday Ben. Don't feel bad....We both turned 29 this year as well & we still feel young. Glad you had a good day with your family. Nice to be blessed ain't it!! Love you guys & talk to you soon.
I bet Ben loved his new birthday bike! The pictures of it totally remind me of Kansas because those bikes were very popular out there. I think there was even a time that Jerry wished for one since that's what lots of the guys drove to campus. What fun! Tell Ben "Happy Belated Birthday" and for the record, 29 might be old, but 30 is older (although still not as old as I thought it would be :)
